ForceVPS Abuse Policy

1. General Provisions
This Abuse Policy governs the handling of complaints, abuse reports, violation notices, and other communications related to the use of ForceVPS services.
This Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Service (ToS) and Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
2. Purpose of this Policy
The purpose of this Policy is to:
- maintain the stability and security of the ForceVPS infrastructure;
- protect customers and third parties;
- comply with applicable laws and regulations;
- satisfy the requirements of data centers, network providers, and Internet registries;
- prevent abuse of network resources and services.
3. What Constitutes Abuse
Abuse includes, but is not limited to:
- spam and bulk unsolicited communications;
- phishing;
- malware distribution;
- botnet activity;
- DDoS attacks;
- network scanning;
- brute-force attacks;
- fraudulent activities;
- copyright infringement;
- hosting of illegal content;
- violations of the Acceptable Use Policy;
- any activity that may cause harm to infrastructure, customers, or third parties.
4. Submission of Abuse Reports
Abuse reports may be submitted through:
- email: abuse@forcevps.com;
- the ForceVPS ticket system;
- notifications from data centers;
- notifications from network providers;
- notices from copyright holders;
- requests from governmental authorities.
Reports should include sufficient information to verify the violation (including logs, email headers, links, dates, and exact time in UTC).
5. Complaint Processing Timelines
ForceVPS processes incoming abuse reports as quickly as possible.
The Customer's response time to a forwarded complaint is typically 24 hours from the time the notification is sent.
In case of critical violations (active DDoS attacks, phishing, malware distribution), the response window may be shortened, or the service may be suspended immediately.
6. Customer Obligations Upon Receiving an Abuse Report
The Customer is required to:
- provide a response within the designated timeframe;
- take immediate measures to resolve the violation;
- notify ForceVPS of the corrective actions taken;
- prevent repeated violations.
Failure to cooperate may result in the restriction or termination of services.
7. Emergency Measures
ForceVPS reserves the right to immediately restrict or block services without prior notice in cases of:
- DDoS attacks;
- active malware distribution;
- phishing;
- server compromise;
- threats to the network or other customers;
- direct demands from data centers or network carriers.
8. Repeated Violations
In the event of persistent or repeated violations, ForceVPS may:
- restrict access to services;
- refuse service renewals;
- terminate the account;
- deny service provision in the future.
9. Copyright Infringement Complaints
ForceVPS reviews notices regarding copyright violations.
We reserve the right to request additional information and temporarily restrict access to the disputed content pending investigation.
10. Governmental and Law Enforcement Requests
ForceVPS complies with and processes valid requests from law enforcement agencies and government entities in accordance with applicable laws.
11. Limitation of Liability
ForceVPS shall not be held liable for any damages or losses resulting from service restrictions or suspensions enacted during the investigation of abuse reports or to safeguard the security of the infrastructure.
12. Policy Amendments
ForceVPS reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time.
The current version will be published on the website and becomes effective immediately upon publication.
